“Ready” is a lie.

1. Ready isn’t real.

Personally, I don’t know what ready feels like. When I started my business, I just knew it needed to exist and that I had the vision and resources to start to bring it to life. I didn’t know how I was going to get it all done, but I didn’t need to. I just needed to start building. Just start doing something now. You won’t ever have all the answers or plans mapped out until you at least take one step.


2. You’re more motivated to build a team. 

I knew I couldn’t run Inner Glow Circle alone, so as the company grew, I carefully hired a team to support our mission. I always hire people who are better, faster and smarter than me. I can’t do it all, but I can find the right people to do each piece. Have super big biz dreams and no team to support you? In order to hire a team, you need to have the big biz first! Start growing your business now! When it comes time to hire a team, the money will be there to support you. You don’t have it now because you haven’t started your biz. Get started!

3. Failure and mistakes will happen anyway, so why wait? 

I’ve had time to make the big mistakes and regroup. My best advice is to find the easiest way to test your idea and then move forward with your strategy. Stay open to feedback and improve along the way. Failure can be your best friend, so stay true to your vision, learn from your struggles and come back stronger every time. Whether you launch your biz today or in 2 years, the same mistakes are going to pop up. In two years you could be way past those, or just starting to experience them. It’s up to you!

Most of all, learn to love the process, not just the end result. Being connected to your purpose and your “why” for putting your venture out into the world is all you need to take the next step!
